G-Power BMW M550d remapped to 435 hp

German tuning home G-Power is offering the BMW M550d Touring a remodeling. Powered by a 3.0 liter TriTurbo engine, the M550d outputs, in standard type, 381 horsepower and 740 N of torque. But that does not appear to be enough for those looking for extra thrills, so G-Power is providing the M550d some added power for a total of 435 hp and 850 Nm of torque.

G-Power are using their D-Tronik 5 V1 module in order to enhance the power. The module is set up so that it just launches added power if the correct cooling water temperature has been reached. In scenarios where the oil temperature level reaches its restrictions, the power output is limited.

In traffic, the D-Tronik 5 module replies to the acceleration and change the power accordingly.

The M550d can now speed up to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the stock model and just 0.2 seconds slower than the M5.

Leading speed is restricted to 270 km/h, but for extra money you can increase it to 300 km/h.

The automobile now rests on 21″ ″ G-Power Typhoon RR forged wheels, wearing 255/30 ZR21 and 295/25 ZR21 tires.

Featuring the next generation G30 BMW 5 Series

The sixth-generation G30 BMW 5 Series will come to market in summer of 2016. The 2nd 5 Series Gran Turismo will debut in the spring of the very same year, followed by the Touring model in the fall.

All these designs are built on a brand new modern platform called “35up.” The nomenclature designates all the designs from the 3 Series all the means up to 7 Series and it’s both a rear-wheel drive and xDrive platform.
